About

About Maxwell Wimmer, LCSW

I help people overcome anxiety, OCD, perfectionism, trauma, and relationship challenges so they can live with greater confidence, authenticity, and peace. My approach combines evidence-based therapies with compassionate, practical guidance that empowers people to make meaningful, lasting change.

In addition to providing therapy, I'm building an educational platform that makes high-quality mental health resources accessible to a broader audience. Through articles, videos, and a newsletter, I aim to simplify complex psychological concepts into practical tools people can use in everyday life.

What makes my business different is the focus on education, authenticity, and actionable strategies. I want people to leave every interaction feeling understood, equipped, and hopeful. Over time, I plan to expand by offering online courses, digital resources, and a membership community that helps people continue growing beyond the therapy office.

Meet Maxwell

A therapist committed to making growth feel possible.

I'm Maxwell Wimmer, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who helps people overcome anxiety, OCD, perfectionism, trauma, and relationship challenges so they can build lives guided by confidence and their values instead of fear.

My approach is practical, compassionate, and grounded in research. I draw from evidence-based therapies such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). My goal is to make therapy feel approachable and give people tools they can actually use in everyday life.

Beyond the therapy room, I'm passionate about making mental health education more accessible. Through articles, videos, and other educational resources, I aim to simplify complex psychological concepts into practical strategies that help people better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and create lasting change.

I believe that everyone has the capacity to grow. Sometimes we just need the right knowledge, support, and courage to take the next step. Whether you're seeking therapy or simply looking to learn more about mental health, I hope you'll find resources here that help you move toward a healthier, more meaningful life.
